This time, my major point is to check out the new Modern Wing, this is my first time vising this part of the museum, they have a lot of the art work I like, for examples,Blue Guitar.

I went to the public art tour with Abby, we took pictures for each other.

We walk from school to Roosevelt, and we catch all the public art on the way.

This is the first public art work in our trip.

This one is the one I like the best, the goddess inside is surround by all type of flower, it's very pretty.

The Crown Fountain is a major addition to the city's world-renowned public art collection.

This fountain is the memory of nature, this marvelous sound of a little river in the mountains translated to the city.

The famous Cloud Gate also called the bean, no matter when I visit Millenium Park,

Cloud Gate is always the most visit sculpture.Cloud Gate is a beautiful and interactive.

In the back is the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, a lot of music festival and concert is in this place.

The MCA

I really enjoyed visiting the MCA, this is the second time I been here. I really like the exhibition series featuring iconic works from the MCA Collection by William Kentridge.

All the exhibitions I had seen is amazing but the most important part is that I learned so much about the skyscraper. There is a lot of the exhibition has particular relevance to Chicago, the artists use so many forms to show us about all the different type of skyscraper, from video and film to sculpture, painting, and photography.

I really like the bookstore, it has so many book I want to get. I also like the art work by Heidi Norton, he build up sculptures on large sheets of glass and he embeds common houseplants in layers of resin, paint, or colored wax. Is very cool and different.

Taipei 101

Photos of Taipei 101, Taipei

This place is a must to visit when going to Taipei, This building already become the Icon of Taipei. It has a great night show of firework when celebrating new year. It’s not costing a lot of money to visiting the top floor of this building, it has GREAT view over the city of Taipei!

I remember when I visit there, we are provided with a device explaining the different sections of the view of the city from the building. The device comes in different languages and I choose Chinese. There is an area where you can send postcards to love ones. The ink stamps provided are really cute. A nice idea. I can't see very much on the observatory. There is a small theater that explains how the 101 was constructed. Quite an educational video.
The damper is also interesting. A huge ball bearing to stablelize the building during earthquakes.

Taipei 101 is an amazing icon yet great attraction in Taipei, Worthy Indeed! :D
